Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati – Transfer to Cherrapunjee
Arrival in Guwahati:Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station. Meet your driver and guide.
Begin your journey to Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth (approx. 3-4 hours, 170 km).
Enroute:On the way, visit Elephant Falls, a beautiful three-tiered waterfall, perfect for a quick stop and photography.
Continue the journey with scenic views of tea gardens and local villages as you enter the Khasi Hills region.
Arrival in Cherrapunjee:Check-in at your hotel/resort in Cherrapunjee and freshen up.
Afternoon Sightseeing:Visit Nohkalikai Falls, one of India’s tallest waterfalls. The view is breathtaking, and it’s a must-visit attraction.
Explore Seven Sisters Falls, a set of seven waterfalls located in a lush, green valley.
Evening:Relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of Cherrapunjee, surrounded by mist-covered hills.
Optionally, you can explore some local markets or have a leisurely walk around the town.
Overnight: Stay in Cherrapunjee.
Day 2: Cherrapunjee – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong
Morning:After breakfast, depart for Dawki (approx. 1.5 hours drive, 40 km), a scenic town on the border of India and Bangladesh.
Dawki Visit:Umngot River: Enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River, where the water is so clear that the boat appears to be floating in mid-air.
Take a walk along the riverbank and enjoy the natural beauty.
Proceed to Mawlynnong:After exploring Dawki, head towards Mawlynnong Village (approx. 1 hour, 30 km), known as Asia’s cleanest village.
Upon arrival, explore the village and its immaculate surroundings.
Visit the Sky Viewpoint, a bamboo structure that offers panoramic views of the village and Bangladesh plains.
Mawlynnong Village:Walk through the village and marvel at the cleanliness and the hospitality of the locals.
Visit the Living Root Bridge in Riwai Village, which is about a 10-minute drive from Mawlynnong. Take a walk through the forest to reach this stunning bridge made from the roots of trees.

Drive to Shillong:In the afternoon, start your journey to Shillong (approx. 2.5 hours drive, 90 km).

Day 3: Shillong – Local Sightseeing – Departure
